Here are the weapons used by Matthew/Jester

Gun: This one's used by Matthew. It fires six seperately loaded shots with small detonaters inside of them, making them very powerful.

Knives: Also used by Matthew. He uses them in close combat in the traditional style of sword breakers; to disarm an opponent by catching their weapon in the nooks in the blade, then twisting the knife to either wrenchthe weapon from their grip (if they've got a bad grip), or to break the weapon entirely. They're also good for stabbing.

Catechism: The cards for it (Shown above) are used by Jester. He holds them between his fingers and uses them as bladed weapons. Small and lethal, they're very difficult to block and despite being cards, almost impossible to break. They're fifty two of them in total, and the Jester gathers them all up after combat, since he uses many of them as projectiles.

The Catechism itself looks like a pacage for a deck of cards, with the same design as the original cards within it. The Catechism is a magical device that charges any cards put inside of it with arcane energy based on the four suits: Clubs are the primal forces of nature (Water, Earth, etc.), Diamonds are the elemental forces of nature (Lightening, Fire, etc.), Spades are the dark forces and hearts are the light forces. The catechism can charge any type of object that goes into it, but Matthew uses playing cards (You know, Bicycle cards and whatnot).

Matthew can release the power stored in cards usually by choosing which combinations to use, then by speaking out card terminology to go with it then the force it unleashes (Example: Two eights, one of clubs and one of diamonds, would be released as "Two of a kind", then "Minefield", producing earth based mines with explosive power in them in between Matthew and his attacker). The only exception to this rule is if he plays a single card, or any number of face cards (Jack through Ace), which act as 'Summoning' cards. Also, the number on the cards (Ace through ten) usually refer to how many parts there are to it (A three of diamonds might refer to three lightening bolts). Aces can be used as number cards and face cards.

However, each card can only be used once before it runs out of power and must be recharged. Recharging takes several hours, and all fifty two cards must be inside of the deck before charging can begin. If the charging is inturrupted, it must start again from the beginning. One note though: The fifty two cards can be from different decks, but no same two cards are allowed (Example: You can't have two five of spades).

I haven't actually come up with different spells for the card combinations, so it'll allow for some freedom when choosing what to do.

Well, is there a Joker card in there as well? Or just the basic 52 cards?
Certainly is an interesting way to fight ^_^.

eh, it's a specialized sorta thing, so there's only the original 52. Also, couldn't do much with the two extra cards if I brought in some ultimate attack *cough* *cough*
